What Vaani Is
Vaani is a practice tool for spoken and written English. It is not a certified language course, a qualification, or a substitute for a human teacher, and completing chapters inside the app does not confer any recognised credential.
AI-Generated Content
Replies, corrections and explanations are produced by an AI model. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or oddly worded, and a correction it suggests may not suit every context. Treat what Vaani says as practice material to think about, not as authoritative instruction, and do not rely on it for professional, legal, medical or financial matters.
Lawful Use Only
Use Vaani only for legal purposes. Do not use it to generate harassing, hateful, deceptive or unlawful content, to impersonate another person, or to attempt to make the model produce material that would breach our AI provider's usage policies.
Your Conversations
Conversation text is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please do not enter passwords, financial details, government identifiers or anyone else's personal information into a conversation.
API Keys
If you supply your own API key, you are responsible for it and for any usage charges it incurs. The key is stored in the iOS keychain on your device; keep it confidential and revoke it with your provider if you believe it has been exposed.
Prohibited Activities
Any misuse, infringement of others' rights, reverse engineering, or attempts to disrupt the app or its services are not allowed.
Intellectual Property
Vaani AI, its design, course content and branding are owned by Lakvanta Technologies. What you write during practice remains yours.
Service Availability
Features can change, be added, or be paused for maintenance, compliance, or improvement without prior notice. AI features depend on a third-party service and an internet connection, and may be unavailable at times.
Liability
The app is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Lakvanta Technologies is not liable for data loss or damages arising from use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated corrections or advice. Your progress and history live only on your device, so uninstalling the app removes them permanently.
