Delete Your Account — Vaani AI
You can delete your Vaani AI account and the data attached to it at any time, without asking anyone's permission and without giving a reason. There are two ways to do it, and a third option if you want to keep the account but wipe what is in it.
1. From inside the app
- Open Vaani AI.
- Tap your profile circle in the top-left corner.
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to Danger and tap Delete my account.
- Tap it a second time to confirm.
Deletion happens straight away. Nothing is emailed to you and nothing has to be approved afterwards, because once it is done there is no account left to approve anything against.
2. By asking us
If you have already uninstalled the app, email from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm once it is done, within 30 days of your request and usually much sooner.
3. Keep the account, delete the progress
In the app, go to profile circle → Data and AI → Delete my progress. This clears your chapters, XP, streak, history and saved corrections, both on your phone and on our servers, and leaves the account itself in place so you can start again with it.
What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

| Contest entries and scoreboards | Kept, along with the name you entered under, so that past results stay accurate for everyone else who competed. Removed after 12 months. |
| Delivery details given when claiming a prize — name, phone number, address | Kept while the prize is on its way, and for 12 months afterwards, because a delivery has to remain traceable and accountable. |
| Your conversations with the AI | Never stored on our servers in the first place. They live only on your phone, so they go when the rest goes. |
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — that is held by Google Play, not by us. Cancel it in the Play Store → Subscriptions, or on iOS in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, before or after deleting the account.
