By downloading or using Bright Mind, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Bright Mind is a brain-training and self-reflection app: mini games across six skill areas, and short tests that give you a readable summary of how you did. It is entertainment and practice, not education certified by anyone and not a substitute for schooling, coaching or professional advice.
The tests in the app are reflection exercises. They are not IQ tests in the psychometric sense, not clinical or diagnostic instruments, and not validated for use in education, employment or healthcare decisions. No result from Bright Mind should be used to assess, screen or make a decision about any person, including yourself. If you have concerns about memory, attention or mood, speak to a qualified professional.
Research on transfer from brain-training games to everyday cognition is mixed. We make no claim that using Bright Mind will raise your intelligence, exam results, work performance or any real-world ability. Levels, stars and the skills radar describe your progress inside this app and nothing beyond it.
An account is optional; every game and test works as a guest. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the activity that happens under it. Accounts are handled by Firebase Authentication and may be used with email and password, Google or Apple. We may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse the service.
Levels, stars, streaks and test results are stored on your device. They belong to you. Deleting the app or using “Reset all progress” erases them permanently, and we cannot restore data that was never backed up to an account.
The optional name and phone number in Settings exist so that we can contact you if you win a giveaway or contest we run. Providing them is never required and does not by itself enter you into anything. Any contest we run will have its own rules, eligibility and dates announced at the time; where those rules conflict with this page, the contest rules apply to that contest.
Every game and test is currently playable for free. If paid features are added, they will be sold through the App Store, priced and billed by Apple, and clearly marked in the app before purchase.
Any purchase made through the App Store is subject to Apple's refund policy, and refunds are requested from Apple rather than from us.
Bright Mind is suitable for children and carries no advertising, chat or user-generated content. Where a child uses the app, a parent or guardian is responsible for that use, including whether an account is created and whether any contact details are entered.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with or automate the app, interfere with its services, or use it in any way that breaks the law where you are.
Bright Mind, its name, artwork, game designs, test content and code are owned by Lakvanta Technologies and may not be copied, redistributed or resold without permission.
The app works offline, but account sign-in and push notifications depend on services we do not control. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn between versions.
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lakvanta Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Bright Mind, including any decision made on the basis of a test result.
