What Bright Mind Is
Bright Mind is a brain-training and self-reflection app: mini games across six skill areas, and short tests that give you a readable summary of how you did. It is entertainment and practice, not education certified by anyone and not a substitute for schooling, coaching or professional advice.
Tests Are Not Assessments
The tests in the app are reflection exercises. They are not IQ tests in the psychometric sense, not clinical or diagnostic instruments, and not validated for use in education, employment or healthcare decisions. No result from Bright Mind should be used to assess, screen or make a decision about any person, including yourself. If you have concerns about memory, attention or mood, speak to a qualified professional.
No Guarantee of Improvement
Research on transfer from brain-training games to everyday cognition is mixed. We make no claim that using Bright Mind will raise your intelligence, exam results, work performance or any real-world ability. Levels, stars and the skills radar describe your progress inside this app and nothing beyond it.
Accounts
An account is optional; every game and test works as a guest. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the activity that happens under it. You can delete it yourself at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Accounts are handled by Firebase Authentication and may be used with email and password, Google or Apple. We may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse the service.
Your Progress
Levels, stars, streaks and test results are stored on your device. They belong to you. Deleting the app erases them permanently, and so does signing out of an account or deleting an account — both return the app to its first-launch state, which is why there is no separate “reset progress” button. Progress is not backed up to a server, so nothing erased this way can be restored.
What Is Free
Every game is free, with no advertising and no daily limit. Bright Mind Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks the tests and their full reports. Nothing you have already earned is ever taken away by not subscribing.
Bright Mind Pro Subscription
Bright Mind Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered on a monthly and a yearly plan. The price of each plan is shown in the app before you buy, and payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you have already paid for runs to its end. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when a subscription to the same product is purchased.
Refunds
Any purchase made through the App Store is subject to Apple's refund policy, and refunds are requested from Apple rather than from us.
Children
Bright Mind is suitable for children and carries no advertising, no chat and no messaging. The only content one player can show another is the first name on the leaderboard, which is filtered and moderated as described above; a guest never appears there at all. Where a child uses the app, a parent or guardian is responsible for that use, including whether an account is created and whether a subscription is bought.
The Leaderboard and Your Name
Signing in puts your first name and your star count on a leaderboard other players can see. Choose a name you are willing to show: it must be made of letters, and names that are offensive, harassing, obscene, hateful or impersonate somebody else are not allowed.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable names. Every row on the board carries a control to report a name to us or to hide that player from your own board. We review reported names within 24 hours and remove any that break these Terms; an account used to publish one may be suspended or deleted without notice. You can leave the leaderboard at any time in Settings, which deletes your row.
Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with or automate the app, interfere with its services, or use it in any way that breaks the law where you are.
Intellectual Property
Bright Mind, its name, artwork, game designs, test content and code are owned by Lakvanta Technologies and may not be copied, redistributed or resold without permission.
Service Availability
The app works offline, but account sign-in and push notifications depend on services we do not control. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn between versions.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lakvanta Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Bright Mind, including any decision made on the basis of a test result.
