Scanzen is developed by Lakvanta Technologies. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy explains how Scanzen handles information.
1. Overview
Scanzen is a document scanner designed to work directly on your device. You do not need an account to use it. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data or the documents you scan.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Scanzen does not collect:
- Personal information such as name, email, or phone number
- The documents, photos, or pages you scan or import
- Recognized (OCR) text or the files you export
- Location data
- Usage data linked to your identity
3. Camera Usage
Scanzen requests camera access only so you can scan documents, ID cards, books, and QR codes. Camera input is processed in real time on your device.
No images or video frames are uploaded or transmitted to us. A page is saved only when you choose to capture it.
4. Photo Library Access
If you import an existing image or file, Scanzen accesses only the items you explicitly select. It does not scan or read your full photo library.
5. Your Documents & Files
Scanned documents, pages, signatures, and exported files (PDF, JPG, TXT, DOCX, PPTX) are stored locally on your device. Lakvanta Technologies has no access to them.
6. Text Recognition (OCR)
Optical character recognition runs on-device using Apple’s Vision framework. The text Scanzen extracts is processed locally and is never uploaded to our servers.
7. Subscriptions & Purchases
Scanzen Pro is offered through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. All billing is handled by Apple under your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase validation uses Apple’s StoreKit and does not identify you to us personally.
8. Analytics & Diagnostics
Scanzen may use Apple-provided system diagnostics such as crash reports to improve stability and performance. These diagnostics are anonymous and do not include personal data or the content of your documents.
9. Third-Party Services
Scanzen does not use advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking services. The app relies only on Apple system frameworks such as VisionKit, Vision, PDFKit, and StoreKit.
10. Children’s Privacy
Scanzen does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, there is no risk of child data misuse.
11. Data Security
Because Scanzen does not transmit or store your documents on external servers, your information remains under your control at all times.
