ResumeBuilder is developed by Lakvanta Technologies. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy explains how ResumeBuilder handles information.
1. Overview
ResumeBuilder is a resume maker designed to work directly on your device. You do not need an account to use it. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data or the resumes you create.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
ResumeBuilder does not collect:
- Account credentials — the app has no sign-up or login
- The resume content you enter (name, contact, experience, education, skills)
- The profile photo you add or the files you export
- Location data
- Usage data linked to your identity
3. Your Resumes & Files
The resumes you build, the profile photo you add, and the files you export (PDF, PNG, JPEG) are stored locally on your device. Lakvanta Technologies has no access to them.
4. Photo Library Access
If you add a profile photo, ResumeBuilder accesses only the single image you explicitly select. It does not scan or read your full photo library.
5. Importing a PDF & AI Suggestions
To auto-fill a resume from an existing PDF, or to generate AI writing suggestions, the relevant text you choose to process may be sent securely to our AI provider (Google's Gemini API) solely to return the parsed fields or suggested wording. This text is used only to fulfil your request and is not used to identify you. If you never use PDF import or AI suggestions, no resume content leaves your device.
6. Subscriptions & Purchases
ResumeBuilder Premium is offered through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All billing is handled by Apple under your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase validation uses Apple's StoreKit and does not identify you to us personally.
7. Analytics & Diagnostics
ResumeBuilder may use Apple-provided system diagnostics such as crash reports to improve stability and performance. These diagnostics are anonymous and do not include personal data or your resume content.
8. Third-Party Services
Apart from the optional AI provider described in section 5, ResumeBuilder does not use advertising networks or third-party tracking SDKs. The app relies on Apple system frameworks such as PDFKit, Vision, PhotosUI and StoreKit.
9. Children's Privacy
ResumeBuilder does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, there is no risk of child data misuse.
10. Data Security
Because ResumeBuilder stores your resumes on your device and does not keep them on external servers, your information remains under your control at all times.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Updates will be published on this page.
