Privacy Policy — QR Maker
QR Maker is developed by Lakvanta Technologies. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy explains how QR Maker handles information.
1. Overview
QR Maker is a QR code generator that runs entirely on your device. You do not need an account to use it, and the app does not require an internet connection to create, style or export a code. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data or the codes you make.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
QR Maker does not collect:
- Account credentials — the app has no sign-up or login
- The content you encode, including links, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, phone numbers and payment addresses
- The logo images you add to a code
- Location data
- Usage data linked to your identity
3. The Codes You Create
Everything you type into a code is used only to generate that code on your device. Saved codes, their designs and any logo you attach are stored in the app's own storage on your device. Lakvanta Technologies has no access to them, and they are never uploaded anywhere.
Some code types hold sensitive information by their nature — a Wi-Fi password, a contact card, a crypto wallet address. Please remember that a QR code is not encrypted: anyone who can scan the finished image can read what is inside it. Share printed and exported codes with the same care you would give the information itself.
4. Photo Library Access
QR Maker asks for add-only access to your photo library when you choose to save a finished code to Photos. That permission lets the app add an image; it does not let the app read or browse your existing photos.
When you pick a logo to place inside a code, the app uses Apple's system photo picker. Only the single image you select is handed to the app, and the rest of your library is never visible to it.
5. Sharing & Exporting
When you export a code as PNG, JPG, SVG or PDF, or send it on to another app, QR Maker hands the file to the iOS share sheet, the Files app, or the destination app you picked — for example WhatsApp or Instagram — which is already installed on your device. Anything sent that way goes from your own account, and Lakvanta Technologies never sees or stores it.
6. No Advertising or Tracking
QR Maker contains no advertising networks, no third-party analytics and no tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests of its own.
7. Diagnostics
If you have enabled sharing analytics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. These contain no personal data and none of the content you encode.
8. Third-Party Services
QR Maker relies only on Apple system frameworks such as PhotosUI, Photos, Core Image and UIKit, plus an open-source QR rendering library that runs entirely on your device.
9. Children's Privacy
QR Maker does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, there is no risk of child data misuse.
10. Data Security
Because QR Maker keeps everything on your device and does not use external servers, your information remains under your control at all times. Deleting the app removes the codes you have saved.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Updates will be published on this page.
